Sugar Syrup

Ingredients:

Vanilla Syrup
5 Tablespoons water
1/3 cup sugar
Seed from ½ vanilla bean or 1 teaspoon Madagascan vanilla extract

 Lemon Syrup
5 Tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/3 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon Limoncello liqueur

Orange Syrup
5 Tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
1/3 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon Grand Marnier liqueur

Method:
1-Place the water or juice and sugar in a deep saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool.
2- Once cool, stir in the flavorings.
3-Ideally, let the syrup infuse overnight as this brings out the most in the flavors.
4- To store sugar syrup, keep it in an airtight bottle or container inside the refrigerator. It will last for up to 1 month.
